Ayo Mairo-Ese is the co-anchor of Africa’s premier breakfast show – The Morning Show at Arise News
Channel. She is a multiple award-winning broadcaster, media and communications professional, events
compere, host, and public speaker. She is the principal trainer at the Public Speaking Program, a training
program curated to help people hone their skills in the art of public speaking and effective
communication.

Ayo has a deep passion for women and their need to thrive. She is the co-founder of SpeakHer a social
enterprise and movement designed to empower women with communication excellence. The objective
is to empower women to use their voices effectively, transform lives, and gain relevance across all
sectors of the economy.

Over the years, Ayo has made a mark in her industry, lending her skills and experiences on several
platforms and marshaling mind-shifting conversations with national and international government
officials, thought leaders, and captains of industry.

She enjoys meeting and working with people, reading, and dancing, and absolutely loves and values her
family. She is happily married to gospel recording artiste and musician Mairo Ese.
